   Ideal for combo skin; doubles as near perfect primer
   I am 41 years old and began using the classic Oil of Olay when I was 15, so this brand has been part of my beauty regimen for nearly 3 decades. The Olay Regenerist Regenerating Face Serum is water-based with a very silky texture and plenty of slip so 2-3 pumps cover the face, neck and decolletage completely (one bottle lasts about a month for me). Though this has fragrance, I have not experienced any irritation. It comes in an opaque, air tight container which ensures that none of the potency of the important ingredients is compromised like those in jar packaging.The rock star ingredient in just about all of Olay’s products is niacinamide which has anti-inflammatory capabilities and dark spot reduction, in addition to a plethora of other benefits. What’s more is that it works for all skin types; particularly well for combination skin like mine that is prone to clogged pores. Many moisturizers cause me to break out on my chin and nose, but this has never happened with Regenerist Serum.It also contains cell-communicating peptides that help boost your skin’s appearance making this an overall excellent tool in one’s anti-aging arsenal. I have been using the Regenerist line for about 15 years (I use the Pore Scrub Olay Regenerist Detoxifying Pore Scrub 6.5 Fl Oz (Packaging May Vary) (Pack of 2) , too).In addition to all of the benefits this little bottle contains for the skin, it also happens to be one of the best make-up primers on the market. I have tried everything from Smashbox to Lancome to L’Oreal Miracle Blur but they all pale in comparison to the Regenerist Serum. One thing that’s important to note, however, is that this does not contain sunscreen. Since most moisturizers that DO have it use a chemical sunscreen, it’s actually a good thing in this case because I use a physical sunscreen so my pores do not get clogged.Olay Regenerist Regenerating Face Serum generously packs a lot of beneficial ingredients into one product for an excellent price, and it is particularly economical to purchase it here on Amazon since it is $5-$8 more everywhere else. Whether you’re 13 or 50, it’s never too soon or too late to use this moisturizer. I personally plan to use it for the rest of my life.

   Great Oil of Olay Face Serum!
   I’ve been using a version of this for years. While I miss the lower price tag it used to have, it is still and excellent serum!It’s helpful to gently strip the old skin cells off my face and keep my face soft, even if it is not a moisturizer. I prefer the scent free, but this version, while scented, has a very light and pleasant scent which fades quickly.

   Love Oil of Olay
   I love love love Oil of Olay! I have been using it for almost 50-years and I get compliments on my skin all the time. I am 62 and my skin looks like I am still in my 20s, no joke! No wringles, no fine lines, no crow’s feet and my skin is smooth.

   Nice, but not my favorite
   I’ve used Olay Complete for over 40 years, so when I wanted a serum, that’s the first place I looked. This is the one recommended for my combination skin. I’ve been using a sample I got from Clinique but it was pricey. There’s a lot to like about this one but it doesn’t absorb quite as well as I would prefer. I think I’ll just use it at night and keep looking for the best serum for daytime use.UPDATE: I think I’ve gotten the hang of it now. I was using too much serum, and also too much moisturizer. Two pumps of serum is enough for my whole face and neck. And with the serum, I can use less moisturizer. Now it’s perfect.

   This is a great serum
   This leaves your face so silky soft. My skin is a little greasy but this actually has helped it not ve as greasy. It is very light in the skin and again cannot say it enough leaves skin very very silky soft and moisturized.

   Work for My Skin
   I’ve been using this particular Olay Serum for at least 25 years. It’s not easy to find anymore locally, but I can find it on Amazon. This serum is not the Olay Regenerist Serum, which doesn’t seem to like my skin. The original version is very compatible with my skin. I use this Olay Serum in conjunction with the Olay 15 spf moisturizer. I’m 80 now and it’s still works for me which would indicate that it’s compatible with skin as it ages. I hope this particular serum is never discontinued.

    this was really good at first then I developed an allergin reaction to it, ie my skin redenned and became swollen, so I have had to stop using it
