This is a great product but not for my skin type
I gave this a 4 star but it is more of a 3.5 star. First my skin type is “hormonal” (some days it’s dry in tzone and oily underneath at the same time, acne, discoloration from acne, large pores, acne scaring, saggy jowls, lines on forhead) I am 50 so lines, sagging is normal for age, but the rest is genetic I guess.Anyhow, now that you know my skin let me give you my review. I have fair so got fair, I was happy it wasn’t to light, some fair products are to light and make my already past color worse.This gives just enough color to make your skintone even, I felt it sits a little more on top of skin which is nice for aging skin, but it does have a shiny/somewhat greasy look.I let it sit without adding powder to see if it would absorb a little more in skin and it doesn’t really so I put a light powder over. Then my blush, eye shadow and mascara.I like the spf and that it is mineral, and I love the tint. It does not cause me to get additional acne which is a huge plus, and seems to stay on all day.What I don’t like is that I can ki d of smell the minerals in the product but I was also on my cycle when using it so I am one of those women who’s sense of smell ratches up to 1000 while on cycle so everything smells to me, so take that with a grain of salt unless you have this issue too.That being said, I will use this in the summer on my no make up bum around my garden days or when I run out of my tinted spf base (Clinique that I am trying to replace with more natural product), but it won’t be my everyday wear.So I am back on the hunt again.

Great tinted sunscreen for those who want light coverage with skin care ingredients
I love CeraVe products and this is another winner. I have been working hard on getting my skin in better condition so that I do not have to use a lot of heavy makeup and I want to stop using foundation altogether but I still need a sunscreen. I like this CeraVe tinted sunscreen because it not only protects my skin from the sun but also improves my skin barrier and refines my skin with a light tinted coverage.This is NOT a full coverage foundation-type of lotion so if you want full coverage, this is not it.When I first put it on it does look a little greasy but once it dries down it looks great. I usually follow up with a few dots of concealer that I blend over my skin and it works great.Best of all, my skin looks great at the end of the day when I wash my face because the CeraVe has moisturized and protected my skin all day.

Thin coverage, slight tint that allows makeup to sit on top very well. At first it appears greasy but once it sets it has a dew like finish. No strong scent or sunscreen-y scent and has not caused any breakouts. I have combination skin and works well.

Light tint for all us pale ppl
I’m very very pale and was worried this would be too dark. It’s not which is a relief (fyi for all you other pale ppl out there). I mix it with a higher spf and that sets me for most of a normal day. It does leave a greasy cast but that’s the nature of this type of sunscreen, flat out. I let it set for ~10 min and then put a primer on top and if I want, I’m good to go applying makeup after that. I thought others were a bit silly to mention the cap but man alive, it is so incredibly poor designed, someone should be fired. Would give it 4 stars for the cap, but giving 5 because of the surprise light tint.

Lightweight, good for every day
Testing out facial sunscreens for an upcoming beach vacay–this is the clear winner. It’s lightweight, non-greasy but hydrating. I mix a dab with my primer for a smooth, natural look–no other foundation is needed. I have dryer, mature skin with an oily t-zone and it works for the entire face.
