A potent enough Vitamin C
Ya know how you buy a product and use it and use it and use it and never think you get anything out of it, why are you wasting time with one more thing? Well, thats not this stuff! This is a light oil, lightly citrus scented. Makes a light smoothing on my skin when I use it, but its not greasy despite it being an oil. Use it daily and my skin seems lighter, brighter and just “better”. I used a couple of bottles of this, then went to a cheaper drugstore variety, and then came back to this. Its worth the cost and doesnt break the bank. Its a little spendy but way cheaper than a professional facial, and you can afford to do this daily. The bottle lasts a couple of months (for me at least) and as long as you tighten the bottle appropriately it doesnt oxidize away into uselessness like some other brands. The only caveat I have is that literally every bottle I have ordered (and its been quite a few) has come slightly oily/sticky because Amazon hasn’t figured out the best way to package it yet – they are getting better and better with each delivery. My hint – if you’re flying and its only a couple of days away, leave it home b/c no matter how much I tighten the bottle it doesnt seem to like flying (the outside of the bottle is always a little oily when I arrive – I just ensure its in my TSA approved baggie and my clothes stay clean.

Perfect Cleanser
Loves that it lathers with little bit of water. Only one pump needed. Face feels refreshed and looks brighter after a few days of use.

Not over drying

A little goes a long way!
When I ordered this, I really liked the idea of having a cleanser with vitamin C, antioxidants, and lactic acid in it. Since I use retinol products at night, I knew that this would just be a daytime facial cleaner for me (don’t like to mix acids or Vitamin C with retinol- my skin is too sensitive for that). Since it is advertised as being hydrating, I just assumed it would be a milky or non foaming cleanser, so I was definitely surprised when the pump dispensed a clear gel like substance. Let me rephrase that- I was a bit frightened too, since historically I have found gel cleansers and highly foaming cleansers to be too harsh and too drying for my skin. In the pursuit of data, I wet my face, added some more water to my hands, and the gel had no problem foaming up, quite a bit! The smell is so incredibly nice- citrusy and refreshing. I applied what was like a pump and a half to two pumps of product and washed my face. In the future, one pump will be more than adequate, as it does foam and spread easily. To my utter joy, after I rinsed it off, my skin was hydrated, and NOT dried out! This is truly a first for a clear gel cleanser for me, and I am loving this cleanser! The smell alone would have me wanting to use it. It also contains licorice root extract, which should help lighten discoloration over time. I rinsed my face fairly quickly after applying, but I am sure it would be fine to leave on your face for a few minutes, to allow the lactic acid more time to work its magic. The only drawback I can see to this cleanser is the price. It is a hefty price tag for a cleanser, and a 6 oz bottle at that- BUT, honestly, you really only need one pump of it to get your face clean. Maybe even less, since you presumably went to bed with clean skin. Overall, this is an excellent facial cleanser. I tend to be careful about skin products, as my skin can be sensitive, but it was completely nonreactive to this cleanser. It you take joy in fresh, citrus scents, or like energizing scents, this one is for you!

Clarity C-results Facial Cleanser!
A Vitamin C based facial cleanser is sulfate free and gentle on the skin. I applied a small amount on my palms and cleansed on a dampened face. You don’t need to use a lot, it dispensed well and rinsed easily. My skin felt moist and not at all dry after use. I have sensitive skin and this worked great for me, no irratation or any reactions. The Vitamin C is brightening and a well used ingredient! It is also PH balancing, plant based, cruelty free, paraben free, sulfate free, and fragrence free! A very gentle facial cleanser that works as advertised. It should last awhile because you don’t need to use much to cleanse your face and neck! Skin does not feel dry at all after use, it feels moistened and clean! What more can you ask for!
