   Comfortable and hardly any fogging of my glasses
   These are very comfortable and secure fitting, and don’t put unpleasant pressure on the bridge of my nose like my previous rigid 3M (#8511) N95 mask did. The foam nose band runs all across the inside top and provides a comfortable, moldable, snug seal that does a better job of keeping my glasses from fogging than my previous mask, except if I exhale with a big sigh through my mouth or nose, but even then, the fogging is slight and dissipates quickly. I wasn’t able to wear my glasses in the correct position with my rigid mask, but don’t have that problem with this mask.Breathing in this one is a little warmer than my previous KN95 and valved #8511, and on warm days I can feel the beginnings of a little bit of sweat above and below my lip , but it’s worth it for me to have the full, all-around close fit protection an N95 mask provides that KN95’s don’t. I like that they fold flat for carrying around.In case this is helpful, I have an average sized head and full face with a square-ish jaw. The mask sits higher on the bridge of my nose than on the guy in the picture–about half inch above the inside corner of my eyes, is 8″ (accounting for the “duck bill” expansion) from the top to the bottom of the chin tab and about 6” side to side on the widest part of the chin tab area.A reviewer said the mask smelled like pickle or salt and vinegar chips and I agree, they do smell a bit like that (it’s the foam nose band and not the mask itself), but it didn’t bother me and like the same reviewer said, you don’t notice it after a while. It did NOT smell like burnt rubber mentioned in another review.The middle part is stiff like the rigid N95s, but the top and bottom part are a soft, flexible (kind of reminds me of slightly worn jeans) and what appears to be more breathable fabric. The straps look like long wide, flat rubber bands and appear to be securely stapled–I pulled pretty hard on them at the ends and they didn’t move from under the staples. Since they’re smooth, they slide down my hair if I don’t put them high enough on my head, but they’ re comfortable in that position and I hardly notice them at all.I was looking for something to replace my rigid, valved N95s and I’m happy with these.

   These come individually wrapped, so if you need n95 masks to give to caregivers, guests, or to keep on-hand for emergency use, these are a good option. The three panel design means they store flat which makes them easy to keep on hand. These have an APF of 10.

   Straps go on behind your head.
   I have long curly hair that’s knot going to be a good idea for these straps because I take my mask on/off as I run errands and with longer use it will shift with my hair- so —I just made a clean even cut in the middle of the straps holding them up together for accuracy and evenness. In two seconds I used super-glue brand glue (crazy glue worked too) and a dab on one side of the strap then secured gently with a tweezers (not your fingers!) to the other side of the same strap for about 60 seconds. (I took the square edge, overlay to the other side of square edge.) Then with as little touching of the mask as possible I slide the mask by it’s end edge back into its plastic bag (I just cut off the end of the bag clean cut to keep clean till first use). They haven’t come apart yet and fit perfectly behind the ears. Very gentle to the skin in my opinion. If you don’t have good glue, my sister did knots to hers but mine broke when I pulled the knot closed. Sisters!! ;-)And yes they do have an oder for a minute or two. I wash hands, fit my mask, and set it down to let it air out just a couple minutes, before leaving for the day. This little tweak on the straps has made them a perfect buy for me.    If they’re “Sold by Amazon.com”, they’re authentic
   Contrary to previous reviews, these ARE authentic 3M masks if they are Sold by Amazon.com. I can’t speak to the other third party sellers since I didn’t buy from them.The lot code on the box does not match the masks, so I emailed 3M about this and received this response:”Here is an explanation as to why the lot number on the product is different from the lot number printed on the box:The lot number that is printed on the respirator is added to the product when it is made at our manufacturing plant. For example, the 21 is the year (2021) and the 139 is the Julian Date (May 19).The lot number on the primary box is lasered when the product is placed into the box. For example, the lot number 17221 was packed out June 21, 2021. We have traceability controls in place when we pack out the boxes to know what respirator lots numbers got into each.* For the 20 pack, the lot information is lasered on the bottom of the box, near the storage conditions.* For the 10 pack and the 3 pack, the lot information is lasered on the back of the box by the UPC symbol on the back of the package.”I bought the same item from one of the “big box” hardware stores, and the masks and box looked identical to the ones purchased here. As for the masks, they’re more comfortable than the 8210 masks and seem really well made.

   Easy to Breathe
   Some masks make it hard to breathe and they smell awful but this one doesn’t. I primarily use them when I’m flying so that I have that added layer of protection as most have ditched masks but they haven’t ditched being nasty with their uncovered coughs and sneezes. I don’t use the blue straps so I can’t speak to the level of comfort with something over your head, but I punch small holes on the ends and thread a hair tie through to make ear loops. I find this comfortable and easy to take off and put back on when at TSA checkpoints or if I need to eat or drink. The nose is flexible and has padding to add to the comfort. I do thing they’re pricy, but when protecting your health if you can afford them, get them.

   Este cubrebocas cumple con su función pero sin que provoque que se empañen los lentes. Muy bien elaborados, tienen una banda elástica que sirve de sello sobre el tabique nasal, también un elemento rígido que obliga al cubrebocas a formar el arco del tabique y que así permanezca.
