The best of the best iron for my opinion. Control my frizz so good. Pricey but value the cost of money. Very easy to use and never get burn. I cant use another brand in flat iron. Elegant look (design) but also make your hair look radiant (no dry)

I LOVE THIS STRAIGHTENER! Hair is super shiny and frizz free. Definitely worth it and it gets hot enough without damaging hair. One setting takes guess work out of temperature. Will not be using my old chi again.

The Best Flat iron Ever
This is the best flat iron I have ever used. I have used Chi, Sedu, Solia, Babyliss, hot tools and several others over the years. I have lived in some pretty humid places as well. I in VA now and it gets pretty humid during the summer.I have very frizzy, curly hair that does what it wants. LOL not anymore.I can flat iron my hair with this and the humidity doesn’t affect it at all. Even when it’s pouring rain outside. I may lose a little volume but no frizz, the waves I style last the next day too.I will never buy another flat iron brand. This is my forever one. Never again do I have to worry about frizzy hair. The standard heat setting seems to be perfect and it doesn’t damage my hair anymore than usual. It heats up in less than 20 secs. Impressive!It’s super easy to create curls, waves and bone straight. I am by no means a pro at styling but this GHD iron makes it super easy.I can NOT recommend this flat iron enough!!Get it!!

Such a dramatic upgrade but massive let down
Wow! This iron gives better results and leaves my hair silker and straighter with less passes than my older GHD Mk IV Dark styler. If it wasn’t for my older styler starting to have intermittent issues after 10+ years of use, I wouldn’t have ever considered making the plunge and convince myself on spending the money on GHD’s latest styler.All I can say is it was money well spent. I just hope this model lasts 10+ years as well..-Update-After a week of using this styler on a daily basis, I experienced issues with it, the light would flash red and beep at me and not get hot anymore.. Looking on google, apparently these stylers can have issues where any one of the six fuses would fail and caused this issue, so unfortunately had to return the one I got from Amazon.. However further reading, it seems a lot of the issues may come from those who made their purchases through Amazon and other 3rd party retailers… so against my better judgement because the product worked so well over the older Mark IV model I had, I decided to order another one but this time directly from the GHD website, not sure why I didn’t consider or bother to look there in the first place, because I am glad that I did, not only was I able to get the white styler for the same price, but also, the heat spray was free (gotta pay extra for the bundle here on Amazon), but in addition, they had a sale promotion going on so I ended up getting the styler for ~$60 less than the price here on Amazon!Also not sure if it’s true or not, but seen some reviews of individuals who did have issues with their styler and ghd not honoring warranty for purchases made off Amazon, however this could be due to individuals buying from the sketchy non-amazon sellers/listings here, but not sure, but whatever the case, at least i’ll know buying direct from ghd, the styler will be fully covered if I do have the same issue I had with this one from Amazon beyond the 30 day return window.

the BEST so far!
so i had a chi which was over 15 years old and it was time to update. Was looking for something a little less bulky and just “newer” and “updated” as things are always improving. I LOVE the Dyson hair dryer and it was well worth the extra money. so i researched the flat iron as well and the reviews were less than impressive for the Dyson. There were actually demonstrations on youtube where the Dyson was compared to another product and the results were almost identical and some where the other product actually looked better! I realized the “other” product being used in most of those demos was this one! and HALF the price. so while still not “cheap” I feel its a good investment and being that I kept my last flat iron for so long, its not anything i plan on having to replace anytime soon. so worth the extra money up front.It heats up super fast and is easy to hold and move around. This is important when one is doing their own hair. the ones w/ the steam that use “water pods” for example only have it come out of one side of the unit, so if the unit is turned around, its not always the same effect. a product is needed that is easy to move and turn it around to get all the angles needed when one is doing their own hair; especially the back and harder to reach areas. this is light enough weight and easy to maneuver. it has only one heat setting but it got my hair just as straight if not a better effect than the previous ones at a much higher setting so i would think this one is much better for my hair. My style holds for a couple of days until its time to wash again.it also comes w/a rubber protector for the front of the unit. I would still wait until it cooled down but this is great for storage and travel to keep the unit “closed” when not in use.very glad i found this.if wishing to spend the money, for anyone who uses a flat iron, this is also a great high end gift

I live in Florida where the humidity is a death sentence to my frizzy hair. As someone who used cheap $30 hair irons like Remington and such, I never really could see myself spending so much on a hair iron. But I am SO glad I did. This irons my hair in half the time, definitely reduces frizz, and damages my hair way less than any other iron. I can see such a difference and the straightness actually holds and stays way better with this iron than any other iron. Definitely better than the babybliss as well. Spend the extra coins, your hair will thank you later sis!
