I am really happy with this foundation. It actually lives up to it’s claims-I don’t need a primer or powder with it. And by not having to use powder, I think it really helps to give me a younger, more natural look. I was worried about the color being too light, but I followed the chart in relation to what color I have worn in other Maybelline foundations. When I first started applying it, it looked to light, but as I continued to apply, it really worked out great. This is not full coverage, so if that’s what you need, you won’t like it. But I think it’s above light coverage. I think you can get low medium to high medium coverage with it. You can always use some concealer where needed. It leaves me with a natural finish, not crazy matte where I look dry. I have combination to dry skin these days, for reference. I think oily skin would like it, too. The staying power is good. I find application with my fingers is the way to go for the best look. You don’t need to use a lot, either. I hope this helps!

Great product but misleading colors
The product itself was great. I loved the whipped texture of it and it went on very much like a smoothing tinted primer. However, I ordered “medium” and it is definitely more like a medium deep. I have tan skin and typically wear “medium” shades or “tan” shades. I feel like the product is definitely MUCH DARKER than what it appears to be in pictures. For this reason, I am unable to use and will be giving to my daughter who is biracial.

Great If the color was correct
LOVE LOVE LOVE the texture. Very smooth and rests nicely in fine lines helping them to camouflage into my skin. Very light yet full coverage. The only negative is that the color is darker than advertised. I bought 2 at different times and both times they were too dark.

Amazing makeup for women 50+
A little goes a long way. Very light weight as if you can barely feel it on your face. I thought this shade would be too dark but blended very well with my skin and feeling very natural, not cakey. Will definitely buy again. Now this is my go to from now on. No need for primer, foundation nor concealer for everyday look. However, did use my lighter concealer for under eye to blend. This is not recommended for full coverage. Great for women’s skin over 50 like me at a wonderful price.

Not as dark as it appears when you open the tube!
I liked this product! It is lighter in shade. When you open it looks dark for being medium. However, when you blend it out; it is smooth a blends into the skin nicely!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:VERY light product. Build-ability is wonderful, works well with my primer and doesn’t look like spackle. My skin looks amazing and healthy. The only issue I have is it does wear off if you don’t use primer. I often forget I even have it on because it’s so light. I’m very pleased with this product.

I have used a couple of tubes of this product by now and I am still a fan . I use it as a primer when I want to wear makeup or just wearing this alone provides me enough coverage on those long days when you don’t wanna bother with the whole long makeup application routine. The mousse texture is also amazing to work with . I just use my fingers to apply it .

Fills up all my pores and give me the dreaded “polka dot” effect no matter how I apply. I tried with a sponge, with a brush, with my fingers, and it just does not work for me. Primer made no difference. Putting powder on top made no difference. Using or not using moisturiser first made no difference.I can’t say if it settled into wrinkles because I didn’t wear it long enough to find out.Very disappointed, because this is supposed to be for ageing skin, which is exactly what I have, but instead of ‘blurring’ my pores, it just made them far more visible and prominent.
