Fuller, youthful lips
Lip injections did not work well for me. I was planning to go for tattoo lip blushing until I used this product. It took one application to see results. It’s amazing and gentle. At 65 my lips are now full and defined. My lips stay plumped even when the gloss wears off. The color does not feather into my wrinkles. It is a bit sticky but if you want to have results like this without injections or other procedures just get used to it and enjoy your new look!

Great moisture, good for sensitive lips and helps other colors last longer
This is my new favorite lip product! It’s very moisturizing and when layered over a matte color like the NARS pencils, this gloss gives the matte color really nice depth and much longer wear, as well as nice shine. I have two colors and plan to add the clear. I’m hoping they add a good opaque hot pink/fuchsia to their lineup.I also have sensitivities to most lip makeup, and this gloss feels great. It’s fragrance free, which really helps.Of note, I have experience in the beauty industry and my favorite plumping ingredient is hyaluronic acid, which this gloss contains. The usual peppermint/cinnamon/other burning or tingling ingredients are technically irritants, which is how they provide any sensation of plumping action. However, I haven’t seen any lip product really plump the lips much, so I wish everyone would stop trying to achieve that in a makeup product. Bottom line: this gloss is fabulous if you’re smart about lip ‘plumpers’.

Hydrates and stays on!
Finally found a hydrating lip gloss with staying power. I get frustrated at the current options available on the market because, while they all add shine for the 5 minutes they stay on your lips, none of them actually hydrate your lips. In fact many of them seem to zap moisture right out of them, leaving my always-dry lips feeling worse than before I used the gloss. The lip glosses that everyone called “sticky” were the only ones that did anything to hydrate my lips, and it’s unfortunate that so many cosmetic companies have changed their formulas to the lower quality, drying, greasy waste of money that they all push now. I have been looking desperately to find a replacement for my last tube of Clinique long wear lip gloss, as it’s almost empty and I was starting to panic, thinking I was doomed to a world of useless “lip butters” and “lip oils” that I have to reapply 17 times a day. I suppose I’m in the minority of women who want the “sticky” lip glosses back (pleeeease!)I’ve seen this City Lips lip gloss on Instagram so many times and ignored it, figuring it was no different from all the other junk out there right now. But there’s a new version of the ad now that made me take a second look and finally pull the trigger. It’s a significant price tag, so I was a little nervous, but I was not disappointed. While this gloss is not quite as “sticky” as my trusty Clinique, it still has similar staying power, and it feels at least equally hydrating. I’ve only had it for one day, but I already know I’ve found my new favorite, and as long as they don’t change formula, I’m a lifer. I’m in my mid 40’s so my lips are not as smooth as they once were. This gloss does help plump up the little natural creases in my lips. The effect is subtle, but at my age every little bit matters. And I appreciate that I personally don’t feel any tingle or burning when I put it on. There is a bit of an odd smell to it while I apply it, but it seems to dissipate quickly afterwards, and it tastes slightly sweet, not perfumy like other glosses I’ve had the displeasure of trying out. The tube is pretty large, so I feel like I’m getting a lot for the price. It’s noticeably larger than the old Clinique tube. Love, love, love it. Don’t change a thing. Please.

I saw many positive reviews. I know now not what it appears. Bottle only half full, very sticky, my hair when outside was constantly sticking to my lips. After wearing it 3 days my top lip started to turn white. I have since learned you must put sun block on your lips, (that should be noted on their packaging.) I uave used other lip plumping products with no issues & was not sticky. Buyer beware!
