   Glitter lashes are my new favorite thing!
   Okay so I bought this to pair with the Maybelline Sky High Waterproof Mascara, and I didn’t expect to love it this much. I was just hoping for a little fun sparkle on my lashes, but it actually turned out way better than I thought.Here’s what I learned while playing around with it. If you use it like regular mascara and just comb it through your lashes, it gives you a really subtle shimmer. It’s pretty, especially during the day or if you want something low-key. But if you want that glitter to actually show up, the trick is to press the wand gently against your lashes instead of brushing it through. I know it sounds a little weird, but it makes a huge difference. Just kind of press and blink, then press again, and suddenly your lashes look like they were kissed by fairy dust.Also, let each coat dry before going in with more. Same goes for your base mascara if you’re layering it. I didn’t wait the first time and it got a little messy. Now I take my time and it applies so much better.The sparkle shows up the most in direct light. Like, if you shine your phone flashlight or catch sunlight just right, you can really see it twinkle. In regular daylight you can still see it, it’s just a lot softer. So it depends on the lighting, but I love that you can kind of choose how bold or subtle it looks.I seriously had so much fun trying this out and now I’m obsessed. Definitely recommend pairing it with your favorite mascara, but on it’s own, it’s cute too. It make my lashes look so pretty, and it just makes me feel extra cute.

   Burgundy Haze
   Wow! I just love this burgundy haze mascara. You really can’t tell when you’re putting it on that. It is a different color, but it makes my hazel eyes pop out so well. It really brings out the green in them. I didn’t have any flaking or smudging all day long and I actually accidentally fell asleep in my makeup and woke up the next morning and it was still perfect. It does not go on super thick, but it is buildable. I have pretty oily eyelids and I have been working all day long and there are no smudges or flaking. I went and bought two more of these to make sure I have them in case they stop making them because they always stop making everything I love!

   Burgandy Haze is wonderful for hazel/green eyes
   I needed a new mascara and purchased this based on reviews. This is a great mascara that gives volume and length. For something different, I decided to try the color “Burgandy Haze.” I am fair-skinned with hazel/green eyes and usually buy mascara in Brown. This color brings out the green in my eyes and, surprisingly, while it looks burgandy on the brush it doesn’t look that color on your lashes. It just looks like a rich brownish color. Very pretty. Great mascara and will purchase it again!

   Pretty Great/Mixed Feelings Though
   There is no question that this is good mascara. I have this in a few different shades, and I’m experimenting with which color I like best. It goes on beautifully and comes off really nicely, as well. That is a real plus. What I’m not sure about is how sometimes it just feels like a lot on my eyes. Even if you try to apply lightly, it can feel pretty wet and dark. I might just still be trying to apply correctly so, again, I’m experimenting with different shades. I am really liking the cosmic black, which comes in the black tube, so that might be making a difference as the consistency seems to feel a little bit different. But I really do like how all of these can be removed so easily because they are tubing mascaras. Definitely a nice mascara line and great value for money!

   The Maybelline Sky High mascara line is a great product. I come back to it every couple of mascara cycles. My favorite is actually the primer – it’s a super buildable, non-smudge TINTED formula (I can never get the white to fully disappear with traditional white primers) that can easily double as mascara with 2 or more layers (perfect for travel). Much better value than my other go-to primer which costs $26I recently got the Sky High mascara in burgundy, after not buying this line in a while, not to mention not using anything but black or brown mascara since the early 00s. I’m still really impressed with the formula and the burgundy is perfect for making my green eyes pop.

   Just As Good As Thrive — But More Affordable!
   I’ve been using Thrive mascara for a while, but I decided to give Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High a try, and I’m honestly impressed! It’s just as volumizing, lengthening, and defining as the higher-end brands, and it doesn’t break the bank.The formula is buildable, which I love. I can add more coats for extra drama without it clumping, and it holds my curl all day. The Blackest Black is perfect for bold lashes, and I love how lightweight it feels on my lashes.It’s just a tiny bit thicker than Thrive, but it still goes on smoothly and gives my lashes incredible volume.     I searched online for a cheaper but good quality mascara and decided to try this one. I love this mascara, it goes on smoothly and evenly, no blobs. A very reasonably priced item but as good as other expensive mascaras.
